That depends on which of our three service packages you take advantage of. For proofreading of dissertations, we offer the following three service packages:

We recommend the "COMPLETE" proofreading service (our third package) for proofreading of your dissertation, because only in this package do we include our comments and notes (in the Comments column on "Track Changes" mode) where we might see discrepancies or inconsistencies in your work. Although it’s our premium package, 99% of our clients choose this for a proofreading of their dissertation.

Is a test proofreading of my dissertation possible?

Yes, you have the opportunity to send up to two A4 pages of your dissertation, which we’ll proofread and correct for you – preferably depending on the dissertation proofreading package you’re considering – absolutely free of charge. How do I pay for the proofreading of my dissertation?

You can pay for the proofreading of your dissertation by bank transfer as well as by PayPal.

What will the corrections look like in my dissertation?

When proofreading your dissertation, we always use Word’s correction mode where every change in the text is displayed in colour. For comments in the margin of your dissertation document, we highlight words, phrases or sometimes whole sentences. In the fully proofread dissertation document, these relevant parts are highlighted and connected to a comment.

You’ll receive two versions back

After we’ve proofread your dissertation, you’ll always receive two versions back from us.

In the first version, you’ll be able to see all our changes.

In the second version, these changes have already been included in your dissertation document. But our marginal comments are still in the dissertation text. We recommend that you continue working directly with this second version so that you can concentrate on the comments that appear in the margin. You can then delete these comments once you’re satisfied you’ve addressed any suggestions we raised in our proofreading and editing of your dissertation.
